Halloween is almost here & you can enjoy two free PDF patterns, plus play along & win a pretty sweet prize pack!
Details are over at the Sewing Stadium; including a unique bag pattern from Paisley Roots & a playful free motion applique pattern from StitchArt.
Free motion stitching isn’t new to me, as I started my sewing journey with quilting. Free motion applique is a little different, as my stitches aren’t just meandering around the fabric, but highlighting a specific design. I especially love that I can raid my fabric stash for so many creative options.
Jeanine’s pumpkin design is pretty cute & I like how it turned out on this onesie.
What’s more fun with a baby in the Fall than pumpkins on her bum?! (oh and those delicious little baby toes!)
My four year old has been asking for a purse of her own for a little while now. She carries around just about anything she can get her hands on in a plastic bucket, an Easter basket that I just can’t seem to get put away, or a tote bag that’s’ nearly as big as her. Karly’s pattern came out just in time! I love the round shape of this purse & the small size was just right for my little lady (there’s 2 sizes!), plus it’s reversible. She can cram it full of sweet treats or her favorite toys & be ready for running errands with mama. I made one small alteration by adding a ribbon loop before stitching the handle closed. I figured she could clip a toy to the loop or a key chain. Her adorable skirt can be found in the shop! 😉
Be sure to link up your creations by October 25th to win some great patterns for FREE as well as FREE FABRIC!
Our thanks to Becca Duval, Jeanine Thomlinson, & Karly Nelson for sharing their creative talents!
